Narex Cabinet Scraper Burnisher is a specialized tool used to create and maintain the burr on a scraper. By pushing the burnisher firmly along the edge of the scraper, you deform the corners of the scraper, forming the hook-shaped burr. This burr is what allows the scraper to shave off thin layers of wood. Using a scraper and burnisher can significantly reduce the need for sanding and provide a better foundation for your finish. This Narex burnisher has a beautifully turned stained Hornbeam handle, brass ferrule and highly polished high carbon steel rod.
